Mr Christopher Lewis

I am grateful for the Blond McIndoe research grant, which I am using to study the impact of laser treatment on burn scars. Through this research, I hope to improve and streamline laser treatment for hypertrophic burn scars, which can be extremely debilitating, affecting quality of life and body confidence in burn survivors.

As well as facilitating this research project, the grant application process has increased my confidence when structuring future grant applications and will strengthen my research background for further funding opportunities, supported by the results facilitated through the Blond McIndoe research funds.
